A is for Awesome!

This week we "visited " Africa and learned about the letter Aa. Thursday, we had an apple tasting and graphed our favorite kind! It looks like yellow apples were their favorite!

Yes,  those are Christmas napkins! Why can't we be merry and bright in August?! Ha!

In health, Mr. Myers taught them that we live in Lamar County!

They LOVE getting to sit in " big kid" desks.

Gingerbread Week

We had so much fun this week!  The kids are doing a great job of learning all of the procedures and expectations. We are finally getting into the swing of things, and it's going to be an awesome year! Throughout the week, we read many versions of the Gingerbread Man. The kids created puzzles and puppets, and on Thursday we made our very own Gingerbread man! I took him to the cafeteria to bake, and during nap time he jumped out of the oven and ran away!!! Friday, we went on a hunt around to school to find our Gingerbread Man. We finally found him and the kids were very excited to eat him!
